Safe From Harm review

by primal records

NARCOTIC THRUST "Safe From Harm" (Original, Dean Coleman, and Behrouz Mxs) 2x12" Yoshitoshi Tom Stephan said it was pinnacle track in Miami. Danny Tenaglia played it more than once and added it to his recent Back To Basics mixed CD. Deep Dish signed it to their Yoshitoshi label. Let's face it: If it were 1995, Narcotic Thrust would have signed this one to Tribal America and we'd probably be calling it a classic. And that's just what this one is--proper vocal progressive house that manages to satisfy a broad array of palates. The original mix is a synthed-up funky houser, Dean Coleman hands in a pair of tech-progressive and tribal mixes, and local SF DJ Behrouz gives it the deep and sexy treatment for early evening affairs.
